The DT Visual Disobedience Campaign requires financial means to be successful. Our campaign is treated as a nonconnected political action committee (PAC). Please now click on our PayPal button or use our icon below to make your contribution of up to $200.
We are required to share the following with you:
“Contributions are not tax deductible. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Contributions from foreign nationals and federal government contractors are prohibited.
For those with the financial means, there is no maximum to the contribution you can make to our campaign. If you would like to contribute an amount over $200, please click on the ActBlue link below . Thanks so much!
By making this contribution, you affirm that the following statements are true and accurate:
- I am a United States citizen or permanent resident (e.g., green card holder) or I am a representative of a corporation that is chartered and operating in the U.S., the funds are derived from U.S. revenues, and no foreign national has participated in the decision to make this contribution;
- This contribution is made from the funds of the above-listed contributor, will not be reimbursed by another, and if this contribution is made via credit card, then it is being made with a card for which the contributor has a legal obligation to pay and will not be made on the card of another;
- This contribution is not made from the treasury of an entity that is a federal government contractor.”
U.S citizens and green card holders under 18 years old (minors) can also make contributions, subject to rules described here. Essentially the rules require that the contribution be made voluntarily and from the minor’s own funds.
We want our campaign to be driven by word of mouth, our collective smart work, and social media use, not expensive ad campaigns. $1 collected from 5 million people would provide the funds we need for a very effective campaign. As noted above, consistent with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit decision in SpeechNow v. FEC , qualifying U.S. corporations can also contribute to our campaign!
We are not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. As indicated above, we are not a U.S. charity, so payments to us are not U.S. tax deductible.
The Vis Dis ™ team thanks you for your contribution of your vote, time and/or money. A successful campaign will ensure Trump is not re-elected!
